Just as AMG is synonymous with the Mercedes-Benz performance division and Fords with RS Cosworth badges on the boot can always be relied upon to supply thrills on demand, Overfinch has been connected to Range Rover (and Land Rover) since the 1970's offering something a little more 'exuberant' to the world's best four wheel drive car ever built. Overfinch, in association with the world famous gunmaker, Holland & Holland, produced a limited edition Range Rover in which standard extras are superseded by bespoke packages for their limited numbers production cars. The prototype and first few Holland & Holland L322's were pre-facelift 4.2 engine cars however the rarest was the 5.0 litre facelift cars and as such this is likely a once in a lifetime find especially as this is number one of the proposed 100 and a car featured on Top Gear amongst other press.

For what could be considered the rarest of all Range Rovers, this is one of what is believed to be four produced before Overfinch went into administration and boasts a phenomenal specification. This example was first registered in July 2009 and the first L322 Holland & Holland car to be produced. Our vendor is the fourth keeper of the car and has known the car from new.

Initially registered to Overfinch and wearing the OF D365 registration number seen in the press, it was sold to a friend of our vendor who sold the car to his nephew before our vendor took ownership in 2015. Some of the Overfinch/Holland & Holland customisation extends to the following; cream full H&H custom interior in extended nappa leather with Holland and Holland stitching and green piping, H&H extended wood pack with inlays, full rear centre console with etched Overfinch/H&H crystal tumblers, H&H leather and wood steering wheel with steel monogrammed inlays, large rear console mounted fridge and rear entertainment system with executive rear seating and individual heated/cooled seats. Sitting on 22" Overfinch alloys with deployable side steps, the body has an Overfinch Aero bodykit with exhaust finishers, Overfinch LED illuminated kick plates and it comes as no surprise that the car comes with every Range Rover option bar none. These include uprated Harman/Kardon Logic 7 HD, full UV glass, rear cameras, active headlights, touch screen satellite navigation with dual view, locking rear differential and climate front seats.

Within the history file is a copy of Shooting Times which the car features on original stock wheels, press photo, original Holland & Holland sales brochure featuring this very car and the gun cabinet that it sadly no longer carries. A comprehensive service history is found with 13 stamps in the booklet which includes the last service in March 2023 at 65,247 miles, this coupled to the book pack and folder full of invoices from servicing and maintenance. Offered with an MoT test certificate until March 2025, this is a car maintained regardless of cost, with known history and provenance from new, including two keys. The vendor states that he could only fault the heated steering wheel not working, everything else appearing to operate correctly at the time of catalogue. This is a rare collectable car, number one of just 100 proposed to be built and one of four examples believed to have been finally produced before Overfinch went into administration. Purposeful, luxurious, practical, powerful and with provenance to spare you can drive, collect or take this car off road much like the team did in the recent Throttling classic episode found on the Historics YouTube channel.
