1944 JEEP WILLYS - £17,000 or near...
This is an original wartime Ford GPW jeep. It is the same as the Willys MB but was made by Ford. The vehicle is in excellent condition and has never had a full restoration which means it retains it's original features and patina. The engine and gearbox have been re-built as have the brakes. The guages are all original and are the correct Stuart Warner make as used by Ford. The tilt has been replaced (canvas hood), with a correct pattern made by John and Mary Worthing. It has the fire extinguisher, first aid box, 1943 dated jerry can with filler pipe and original canvas water bucket. The jerry can is not rusty and holds petrol. The jeep also has some tools and the original jack, grease gun, oil can and mount, gun rack and rope. The wheels are the correct split rim combat type and the tyres are all good. Many parts are marked with the scripted F stamp including the correct radiator. The horn is also original and working. Everything works and the jeep drives really well. No work is needed on the jeep it is ready to use as is and It has not had any welding. This a an honest authentic jeep and is rare due to it's good un restored condition. I am only selling it as I have had it for some time and now wish to spend more time on my other cars. The jeep is MOT exempt and has Free classic tax. This is a great opportunity to purchase a really good original World War 2 jeep. I also have lots of new old stock parts, wheels and tyres, jerry cans, tent and display items for sale. All of this I had for the jeep so could sell separately or with the jeep at additional cost.
