A rare sight on UK roads today, the machines are well-regarded as offering good handling and braking, and a smooth and comfortable ride. This particular Special XS850 was imported from the USA to the UK in 1994 and the late Mr Sansom was its first and only owner in this country. The low mileage of 13065 is understood to be correct and can be corroborated by the MOT test certificates included in the sale, the first of which was carried out on the 10.12.1994 at 8856 miles and rubber stamped by Bournemouth V.R.O. The machine is presented in very nice condition and is finished in garnet. After a period of storage, we would recommend a recommissioning service before returning the machine to the road.
