This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at Shuttleworth - Summer 2025 on Sunday the 20th of July, Shuttleworth, Old Warden Park, Beds, SG18 9EP . The Yamaha RD350 is a collectable classic sports bike that was voted MCN’s Machine of the Year for two years running in both 1980 and 1981. The RD350 YPVS was produced by Yamaha between 1983 and 1986 and, at launch, the bike was marketed as the closest thing to a race bike for the road you could buy The YPVS in the model name refers to the innovative Yamaha Power Valve System, which consisted of a microprocessor-controlled servomotor that drove a spool-shaped exhaust port valve, allowing continual variable port timing.  This is a matching-numbers example and has recently been treated to a faithful restoration In excellent condition, the bike has covered 23,302 miles and is confirmed running Supplied with a current V5
