VAUXHALL CALIBRA TURBO 4X4 Limited Edition No.16 of 51 last run of the turbo's made. 12 months MOT, 1 advisory (stone chip)

The Calibra model was first produced 30 years ago this year and we think there are less than 11 LE models left so you are buying a super rare car.
If you don't know, the car was made as a part of the last run of 51 Calibra Turbo 4x4's ever made. You can read about this here: https://www.modernclassicsmagazine.co.uk//vauxhall-calibra The LE costs £27k from new, a premium of £7k over the standard turbos for the last edition. This will always be reflected in the price. They are sought after due to being the rare, last run.

I bought the car in 2011 and had a full respray done in 2012. I fixed the transfer box, hydraulic control module (inc accumulator) and sunroof. It was my daily drive until 2015 so has some age related wear and tear. The interior is good for age, no rips or tears in the leather and the door cards are not blown. I have owned these cars for over 20 years and I know them inside out.

No issues with the engine, it is the Cosworth cast redtop version which doesnt suffer from porous oil galleys. It runs smooth and sounds like a 16v should. The turbo, gearbox and transfer box are all running well. Tyres all the same tread and are well maintained (dont approx 2000 miles from new)

I replaced the exhaust for a genuine GM pipe and rear box in 2016. The springs are new Eibach Pro which is the same as the original Irmshcer set (Eibach are the OEM manufacturer). It has Koni Sport adjustable shocks to compliment. Original are no longer available and pattern parts are not up to scratch for this type of car. I replaced all bushes for Poly as the OEM tend to wear quickly. The brake lines are braided and the pipes were replaced 4 years ago.

I have extensive bills and receipts from various owners in a big folder. The car is not a trailer queen, I still take it to shows.

I have a huge amount of spares available. These parts are no longer available from the main dealer and are hard to come by.

There are a couple of light spots of rust in the sill in the usual place.

Recent work; replaced fuel lines, drop links, O2 sensor

There is probably a load I have forgotten so any questions please ask. Please come and view the car. Offers are invited so don't hold back.
