1964 ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER CLOUD SILVER CLOUD III AUTO - £89,000
1964 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III finished in Smoke Green over Shell Grey. Ordered new via Rossleigh of Edinburgh by its first owner, J & A Smith of Maddiston, the largest commercial transport company in Scotland. The car stayed in the ownership of the Smith family until 1983 when it was shipped by Frank Dales of London to its new owner in Texas, USA. The car was repatriated back to the UK in 2005. The interior is trimmed in the original Green hide which remains in wonderful condition as one would expect from a low mileage and well maintained car such as this. It benefits from Stone Wilton carpets and Green Lambs wool over rugs. In the boot there is the original cord type carpet and again everything is present including all the small and large tools. The body and paintwork are in equally wonderful order as is the unmarked chrome. Riding on new white wall tyres, the car runs and drives beautifully with all gauges reading correctly. This car must be one of the finest examples of a Silver Cloud III on the market today.
