This is a prime example, low mileage, low owner 993. Recent garage service quote I havent seen one in such excellent mechanical condition like this for years.
The original owner knew that he was going to buy the 993 in 1996 so he applied for a license number with the DVLA. Back then they would send a list you could choose from and he chose P11 POR. After many years of ownership he passed it on to his son, from whom I bought it about two years ago. Its been lovingly and delicately cared for all of its life.
Interior is perfect literally couldnt be better for its age the leather seats are nicely worn in and the carpet is perfect throughout. The rear fold down leather seats look like that have never been used.
Exterior is absolutely perfect apart from a few minor scruples.
1. Rear bumper has a slight ding just above the number plate and the paint coating has cracked slightly. Also a couple of marked areas on the paint. Nothing a bit of TLC wouldnt repair. (See photos.)
2. Left wing has a very slight dent, no scratch.
3. Windscreen has a couple of tiny chips but they have been there for years.
4. The front number plate just recently got a slight scratch and dent in a car park, bumper completely undamaged.
Electrics / mechanics.
The most recent service and MOT nothing was required. Its all round in amazing condition, even the rubber seals under the engine are in perfect condition.
The only niggle is the squib for the drivers airbag. (This is the electrical connection wire that runs around the steering wheel.) Its flagging up a fault every now and again, however, when cleared by the service centre computer it goes off. Intermittently it returns. I have been advised that the problem is not with the actual airbag and just the electrical connection and I have used the car with this issue for two years now. If the new owner would like to fit a new squib for peace of mind then it is not a big job. I have been quoted £400.
The price of £46,500 reflects the minor faults listed above on this otherwise faultless car.
