1949 MG TC - £30,000 offers ...
Built in 1949, the car was restored in the late 70s since when it has covered some 24,000 miles and has been enjoyed, used, but not abused, annually during late spring, summer and early autumn seasons. The chassis, engine and gearbox are original - all numbers coincide with those on the vehicle plate. The registration number is also original. Finished in it's original Tartan Red, the bodywork and interior have developed a patina giving a look of 'comfortably used' as opposed to 'out of the box' concours condition. The TC travelled the North Coast 500 in September 2017 without a hitch. The XPAG engine loses a slight amount of oil but a new set of gaskets is awaited and will be fitted on arrival.
This excellent example of a MG TC has been caringly looked after by me since restoration and it remains a 'head turner, attention getter,' to this day and is offered for sale for no other reason than since the loss of my wife almost four years ago the TC has not been enjoyed as much as it once was. The time has come for someone else to cherish and experience the pleasures of owning this remarkable wee car which is located in Elgin, Moray.
The agreed value for insurance purposes in August 2017 was £35,000. Offers in excess of £30,000 are invited.
