This is an incredibly original, high quality low mileage (58100 miles) car. Our Mercedes Benz 300SE was first registered on the 10th March 1990 and then spent many years living a sheltered life in Japan. This RHD Mercedes Benz was first registered in the UK on 29th June 2015, shortly before that having its first MOT at 56446 miles. In May 2016 it was purchased by an internationally renowned London based artist who kept the Mercedes Benz garaged in York for use when visiting family. Over the eight years of ownership the Mercedes Benz has covered little over 1500 faultless miles, its most regular trip being York to Whitby annually at Christmas with family. G624 OKY has been getting less and less use so the decision was made to sell the car. During 2024 the 300SE was booked into our workshop with the instructions to MOT the car and carry out any recommended work. We fitted a new battery, carried out a service to include oil and filter, fuel and air filters and new spark plugs. We fitted new bottom ball joints, new brake pads and wear leads and stripped, cleaned and adjusted the rear brakes. We also carried out some detailing work, dent removal and carried out some paintwork to bumper corners. In total over £3000 was spent on the car and it now drives, and presents beautifully. What really is impressive with this car is the level of originality. The bodywork is structurally outstanding, the underside and exterior bodywork is truly superb clearly having led a very sheltered life. The car has never required underside attention like so many of these cars, clearly its early life climate has helped. The paintwork is all of a very high standard and the interior remarkably original . It's hard to believe this car is approaching 35 years old, the interior would pass for a few years old and very few miles. On the road the 300SE is impressive, it handles very well with comfort and luxury, and performance is typical of Mercedes Benz, strong, powerful and of the highest of standards.
