1968 LOTUS ELAN PLUS 2 - £19,250
Early Elan Plus 2 in excellent condition. The car has undergone a comprehensive restoration over several years. The paintwork and interior are in near concourse condition. The paintwork was left in primer for three months before the top coats were applied. The interior is trimmed in Dark Blue leather but to the same pattern as original. Over the years the suspension and brakes have been overhauled. The Webber carbs have been rebuilt. Wiring loom replaced. Drive shafts replaced with Tony Thompson solid shafts. The engine was rebuilt during Covid (all documentation including dyno test available). The car has covered less than 1500 miles since rebuild. The chassis was inspected last week (photos included) and the mechanic said it was sound. I have a history file going back to the 80’s. I have moved house and no longer use the car on a regular basis, so I am looking for a good home.
