Very good inside and out and drives perfectly. A new car and the lack of garage space sadly necessitates its sale! Dry miles only. Owned for 1 1/2 years and maintained by Lancashire Lotus specialist Phoenix Motorsport. Formerly (9 years) by Midlands specialist Paul Matty. £25k+ of past invoices (mainly Paul Matty), including full engine rebuild (4k miles ago at the cost of £10,500), Dellorto upgrade. Lotus galvanised chassis, CV joint conversion, new walnut dashboard (with original toggle switches - later years had big plastic rocker switches!), larger alloy radiator, upgraded fan, brake servo, upgraded starter motor, dynamo to alternator upgrade, new battery, rear seatbelts, electric pop up headlight motor etc. Everything works including all gauges, electric windows etc. The paintwork does NOT suffer 'spiderweb' blemishes that lots of older fibreglass Lotus cars seem blighted. Previous owners and I have been keen to maintain original looks and authenticity! I also have the workshop manual and an authenticity certificate from Lotus Archives detailing this cars production and sale history and a covering letter which makes interesting reading. My +2 is as good as they come, its great fun to drive and turns heads everywhere you go. It just needs a new keeper who will take her out and enjoy her more.
