Here is our outstanding fully restored restoration 1989 Vouge SE Range Rover Classic. We received this vehicle with only 87.000 miles on the clock, 3 owners & needing a full restoration. It has had a full body off, highly professional restoration with no expense spared and no corners cut. It has been fully rebuilt to a show room condition. This car has zero corrosion which is a rare find on such a classic car. It has been fully stripped back, rust removed & had a factory finish paint job in a simply stunning original Plymouth Blue, giving you a full luxury modern classic. RESTORATION INFORMATION. Our first task on this restoration was indeed stripping the car to a bare chassis & body, this enabled us to send the chassis & axles away to get blasted to remove all old paint & debris allowing us to see what we were working with underneath. Once the chassis & axle were returned they were then sanded, primed & re-sanded & then sprayed with a high gloss black finish. Following this we rebuilt the axle & chassis, replacing all bushes and bolts where necessary to make it a rolling chassis once again. Then we started with a full strip down of the engine, removing all auxiliaries so it could under go a full rebuild. All auxiliary parts have been replaced or refurbished to a high standard. Moving on to the gear box & transfer box, these were again refurbished to a high standard, including oil & filters. We then sent all 5 wheels to be blasted & powder coated, once returned we then sanded and refinished in original Plymouth blue to match the body. They were then fitted with x5 245/70/16 Goodyear tyres . The body then had all its outer panels removed so the body could under go extensive corrosion removal. We then primed & sealed the body shell. It was then refinished in its original colours to a very high standard. All outer panels where repaired & repainted in Plymouth blue, again to a very high finish. These then were refitted to the body. Interior was removed and fully deep cleaned with only the head lining needing re trimmed. This has been a meticulous restoration.
