1969 Jaguar E-type Series 2. RHD. Carmen Red with black trim. Comes with Jaguar Heritage Certificate. Originally sent out to New York USA by British Leyland 27 June 1969. It was then brought back to UK and registered on the 1st of February 2016. The car was sent to The Splined Hub Company where the majority of the restoration work was done, including a partial engine rebuild with big end bearings replaced with new oil seals also. The shell was sent to RVR Paint specialists where the shell was completely stripped for dipping then painted to an extremely high standard. There is a memory stick in the history file showing detailed images of this work. Other work included are uprated torsion bars, reconditioned rear axle, new wiring loom, carburettors rebuild, new brake servo, brake & clutch master cylinders, originally an automatic, this car has been converted to manual using the Jaguar 4 speed including a new correct manual gearbox tunnel, refurbished front and rear suspension, new interior trim, instruments rebuilt, new RHD steering assembly, new wheels & tyres, etc. Extra mechanical work has been done by Jaguar specialist Ken Jenkins. Since completion the car has only covered just under 600 miles. This has to be one the best Series 2 E-types on the market and being a 2+2, it can be enjoyed by the whole family.
