This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Sale at MCN London Motorcycle Show 2025 on Sunday the 16th of February, Excel London, Royal Victoria Dock, London, E16 1XL. Harley-Davidson have been producing motorcycles since 1903 and are one of the most famous motorcycle companies in existence Founded in Milwaukee and known for big V-Twin engined cruisers and custom models They manufactured bikes for both World Wars with the WL being synonymous with WWII  It was built as a 750cc side-valve, V-twin and fitted with a 3-speed gearbox Being reliable, rugged and easy to maintain made them popular military machines They were soon in mass production in 1942/43 following Peal Harbour and the arrival of the US into WWII This example is a pre-military WLA/WLC civilian model and was built in 1941 Forming part of a large Swiss Collection for many years, it's now presented in running order and is UK-registered   Restored to its current condition some time ago whilst in Switzerland Fitted with a 4-speed gearbox and (OEM) WLDR competition cylinder heads Complete with a current V5C, a copy owners manual and dating letter
