1990 FERRARI MONDIAL T - £42,000
This car was purchased from Mathewsons in March 2015, sale due to lack of space in their facilities. I am the 5th owner, the car originally coming from a retailer in Walton on Thames in Surrey. I dont know the exact statistics on the car but I understand that about 100 were produced of the T in right hand drive, 50 with the coupe body. The T is unusual as a rare four seater with the ability to fold the backrest into a flat surface. This makes the car quite practical for carrying a large suitcase which would otherwise be impossible. All documents are present to establish the mileage as correct when I purchased the car. There is a large bundle of servicing and parts receipts the size of a volume of Encyclopaedia Britannica, dating back to and including the original purchase receipt from 1990 (about 60,000). The car, while not having been abused and having had all scheduled maintenance carried out over the years, seems to have had little preventative maintenance done in the intervening 22 years or so until I purchased the car. I spent over 10,000 having the underside of the car returned to the original condition, the engine cleaned while out of the car and the engine bay completely restored. I have photographic documentation to back this up along with the engineers report. The original leather cased tool kit is present and in good (probably unused) condition. The car has been stored in dry remote storage for the last 18 months during which time she was exercised every eight to ten weeks. The only modification I have made was to replace the stereo unit with a Clarion NZ502E system (BlueTooth, phone, and foldout navigation system, etc) and updated the alarm system with a Toad unit, the previous system being completely unreliable. Technically, all systems are working with the exception of the air conditioning system which is apparently notoriously temperamental. All components are present, just disabled.
