1972 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STING RAY - £28,500
A beautiful car, complete with hard top as well as the soft top. There were only 6508 convertibles made and this one is a stunning in Mille Miglia Red (only 2478 with this colour, so a very rare classic)I bought this car in 2001. Originally imported into the UK in 1988. I had a brand new V8 engine fitted in 2005. And a complete body re-spray to show condition at the time. The 1972 stingray has power steering and manual gears, a really fun car to drive, turning heads of all ages.The last of the chrome bumpers front and back, the C3 is considered a design icon. I have had 18 joyful years ownership, but sadly it now spends most of it's time in the garage. Only done a few hundred miles in almost 10 years!Drives well and sounds like cars should!
