I brought this car as an investment back in 2009 and it has only covered a mere 120 miles since being built. It has been transported to car shows where it has been a multi-trophy winner including Best in Show and Best Custom Paint It was also on the front cover and main feature in the July 2011 issue of the American Car magazine. The custom metallic orange paint looks absolutely fantastic and is in 100% un-marked condition. The original look silver RS striping has also been base colour painted prior to application of clear coat and is not decals with the final addition of fine hand pin-striping between the orange and silver colours on the custom updated thick GRP bonnet which does not rattle or moan but totally compliments the car.
Mating the old with the new has turned this meticulously built creation into a piece of art whilst retailing the now very rare and iconic re-built 427 big block Chevy engine and 4 speed Muncie transmission.
Also includes 2 no. un-used rolls of interior material, one of grey Ostrich skin and one of grey vinyl which have come from the same manufacture batches as the coverings used within the car. There is enough of each fabric to completely re-upholster 2 additional front seats should anyone wish to change the front seat designs whilst still matching the rest of the interior coverings. Also included is an immaculate original vinyl boot floor mat. I also have 2 tins of the original metallic orange and metallic silver base coat paints which were also mixed from the same batch of the paints used for the build.
Whilst a request to have these cars made MOT exempt by DVLA, I have chosen to maintain the MOT checks and thus the car has passed its MOT with no advisories.
Car is located within easy access of the channel tunnel being only a 30 minute drive.
