BMW 320I CABRIOLET - £Auction
This very well-kept example of the hugely popular 'yuppy' convertible by BMW is presented in dark metallic green with a black interior and has a black manually operated hood. The vendor has owned the car since 1998 and since then has kept every MoT test certificate. Whilst there isn't any paperwork for maintenance in the history file, servicing was carried out under the vendor's ownership by a BMW mechanic who happened to be a friend of the vendor's and who didn't charge his friend. Interestingly with the car comes an extremely rare Wiesmann hardtop, painted in the same dark metallic green as the rest of the car and trimmed to a high standard in black leather. The vendor drove to Germany just to pick up the hardtop from the manufacturer, paying over £2,500 at the time. The hardtop really suits the car and is a high quality and very collectable item.
Supplied with a V5C registration document, service book boasting 18 stamps with the last recorded mileage service being at 75,620 miles with Autobahn Services. Also in the history file is the BMW bookpack, a few receipts and the comprehensive collection of MoT test certificates. A true classic which has reached 'cult' status and is powered by the smooth six-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, a rare beast both with the Wiesmann hardtop and presented in dark metallic green. Consigned by Will Penrose.
