The Bentley Continental GT was the first car released by Volkswagen AG after their acquisition of the company in 1998 and was unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, followed by Le Mans, Goodwood Festival of Speed and the annual Bentley Drivers Club meeting at Silverstone. The car differed significantly from the previous Continental R and T models in terms of its concept; although much of the car is hand-assembled, this Bentley was made in significantly larger numbers than previously. As a result, the price at launch was substantially less than the Continental R, thus exposing the car to a much wider and new customer base as a more affordable car.

This stunning first generation 6.0 litre W12 GTC was purchased by our vendor in January 2020. Presented in stunning Tungsten Grey with full diamond quilted, extended Beluga main and secondary hide topped off with Burr walnut trim and leather roof lining. A desirable  specification includes Mulliner two piece alloy wheels, electric memory heated comfort seats, multi zone climate control and uprated stereo. Befitting a car of this luxury the servicing and maintenance has been equally as well upheld, originally serviced and supplied by Jack Barclay, London. The main dealer network serviced the car annually (sometimes twice annually) until 2016 and again in 2018 before specialists took over and continued the high level of care again annually until December 2023, spanning two service booklets and 17 stamps. Supplied with an MoT test certificate valid until December 2024 with no advisories the vendor informs us the car has no faults and it’s as good to drive today as it was when he purchased it. This is a very good example of the ultimate combination of luxury and performance, viewing is certainly recommended. Consigned by Mathew Priddy

Interested parties please note the private plate is not sold with this lot, The new V5 will arrive shortly from the DVLA and the car will revert to LJ57 BAU
