Work has included: • Significant mechanical work by the main authority on these cars. • New twin-barrel SU fuel pump (originally fitted with a less-than-helpful single-barrel pump). • New radius arm bushes. • In September 2020 car welded, new outer sills, restored front wings, car re-sprayed, new hand-painted coachline. • Back from welding and painting, car thoroughly injected in sills, under bonnet, under wings and wheel arches with many cans of Bilt Hamber Dynax S-50 rust-proofing. • New headlining in 2021, along with new front door cards, front seat cushions re-made with the proper Dunlopillo support. • Brand new bespoke Lambswool overrugs in Summer 2021 – never used. • Carbs taken apart, cleaned, reassembled. • New Pertronix ignition unit fitted. • New valves and seals, valve guides, springs, head gasket. Head skimmed and all re-fitted 2023. • Gearbox rebuilt 2023. • Rear bumper centre section replated 2024. In addition, I detailed the engine over a period of four months. Always garaged.
