A parade of cars and vintage vehicles from Bristol is set to take place on June 13th as part of a celebration of 100 years of aviation in the west of England.

Events will be going on throughout 2010 as part of BAC 100, the media launch of which is due to take place on February 19th 2010.

As well as the show of classic cars in June, there will be a major exhibition at Bristol''s City Museum and Art Galleries from September 18th to November 28th, a centenary dinner on November 12th and a multi-faith service of celebration at Bristol Cathedral on July 10th.

Commenting on BAC 100, the director of the Bristol Cultural and Development Partnership Andrew Kelly told thisisbristol.co.uk: "This event will not only be a celebration of the innovation and adventure of the past, it will also celebrate the achievements of the present and the challenges of the future."
