GT aficionados are getting the hots for depreciated DB7s. Values of the stylish modern-classic Aston are at an all time low, with entry level coupes changing hands for as little as £16,500.

Costing more than £70,000 when new, the DB7 has developed into an emerging classic in recent times with an abundance of cherished, good condition low-mileage cars on the market.

Classic Cars for Sale has a number of DB7s for sale online. We spotted a 1995 supercharged six-pot for sale, with 61,000 miles on the clock, for £16,500. Volantes command more money, however, with good cars hovering tantalisingly above £19K.  After a bit of hunting we discovered a 1997 Volante in pearl green advertised for £19,995. It is to be sold with a full service, history, and copies of every MoT since new to verify the low mileage.

“The availability of used DB9s has had a knock on effect on values as traditional Aston Martin buyers search out the newer cars,” said Martin Pugsley of Aston Martin specialist Pugsley & Lewis.

“Early DB7s are recognised as classics and there’s some nice ones out there. Prices have been falling, but I think they’re at their lowest point. I don’t think you’ll be able to get a DB7 for anything less than £16,000.”
