The Porsche 911 2.4 was introduced in 1972 as a 'T' an 'E' and an 'S', giving 140 bhp, 165 bhp and 190 bhp respectively. All the cars weighed only 1050 kgs, making them lightweight and fast. Externally the 'E' and 'S' cars gained a chin spoiler, aiding high speed stability as well as enhancing appearance.
The 2.4 911s are the final iteration of the classic early 911 shape and the improved power and handling over the earlier cars makes them perhaps the most desirable.
This beautiful and well restored car is testament to its previous 2 owners; a remarkable refurbishment began in 1995 with a full body restoration to include all new genuine panels.
Following on from this and no less than 15 years later, no expense has been spared in bringing every detail back to life in refreshing both the paintwork and mechanical condition of the car.
In 2010 we converted the car from Sportomatic to Manual, the engine was also fully rebuilt, wheels refurbished, paint freshened up and to finish and brighten the interior once again, a new headlining and aftermarket steering wheel fitted.
In 2011 the gearbox, suspension and brakes were all rebuilt, new carpets seats and seatbelts installed and last but not least a new rear silencer and bumper fitted to complete the transformation.
All of the original parts (seats, belts steering wheel) are included with the car and are still in very good condition also.
We have a comprehensive and detailed history file with the car dating right back to the original sales invoice.

This car will certainly appeal to those who know the difference between a good car and a bad one and understand that it is often better to pay a little more and get something that is already right than it is to buy a 'bargain' and try to make it good.
