This is a truly magnificent example of a very rare Morris 14/6 Series II. VV5220 is remarkably original and was owned by just one family for over 50 years. The car is quite simply outstanding and beautifully original and honest in every respect. Much of the paintwork is original yet still retaining a lovely deep shine, some of the window aperture edges reveal slight traces of red prima where previous owners have polished; it really is wonderful. The Morris has a superb presence and throughout the car is feeling of quality. The upholstery is outstanding with perfectly aged and well maintained blue leather, beautiful original woodwork that looks just a few years old and perfect square Bakelight dash centre housing the speedometer. The Morris also retains original fittings such as the rear blind, small circular mirrors located on each corner of the dashboard enabling you to see the semaphore indicators when on, luggage rack, double dipping headlamps and various original tools and handbook. Only 13 Morris 14/6 Series II saloons are known the Morris register and finding a more original example would be difficult. The car is a true time warp and certainly has to be a low mileage vehicle.

The Morris has a strong six cylinder engine holding excellent oil pressure. The gearbox is smooth and a delight to use, the Morris handles and brakes well and has come to us with a current MOT test showing no advisories. Tyres are all in excellent order and the Morris is perfect for entering shows. This 1930's family saloon car is amongst the very best original pre-war cars we have owned in recent years and is most certainly a car for the discerning buyer.
