Ferrari 308 Spyder Convertible 1980.

One of a kind converted by Robert Blasi of The Daytona Motor Company,he was well known in the conversion circuits having converted Ferrari Daytonas and Aston Martins into convertibles .

The work is excellent with a solid framework under the car, infact the weight removed almost equals the weight added by the frame as per the original.

The car was looked after by specialist Graham Reeders in Wiltshire when I bought it, they had it serviced and fitted a new cam belt at 65000 mls.

I have some history but a lot of Mot's to warrant the mileage of 66500 approx.

As you can see its a great looking car and had many admiring glances on its recent trip down to the South Western part of France, from where I have just returned.

The photos are a good indication of the condition of the vehicle, after all it's 32 years old but it is in a good usable condition,as you can see it looks great with the hood down and " OK " with it up.

All in all it's a great car and one that if Enzo had said yes, would have been very successful .

As you know Ferrari prices have gone crazy at the top end, and whilst this is not anywhere near the top range,and not a PininFarina built conversion it certainly has the looks and those fabulous 8 cylinders with weber carburettors to keep you happy. . .

I love this car but sadly it has to go.
