EQUIPMENT

Vinyl roof, chromium plated bumpers, fog guard lamps, black front spoiler, sun visors, illuminated switches, all-black facia, coin tray, centre console clock, heated rear window, two-speed blower, cigar lighter, boot lamp, glovebox lamp, ticket pocket in sun visor, coat hooks, ashtrays front and rear, armrests on doors.

EXTERIOR

This wonderful Marina is finished in Leyland White with the double coachline. The bright wheel arch mouldings and waist rail is intact. The brown standard vinyl covered roof fitted to the Coupe models is clean and unmarked. The full-width chromium plated bumpers have a mirror finish and all badging is fitted and correct. The original supplying Dealer number plates are fitted as are various window stickers such as the front Supercover sticker. After a period of sheltered inactivity the vehicle has had paint. The boot area has the original covering and even the toolkit is still in cardboard covering.

INTERIOR

Incredible and immaculately presented with all brown nylon seat faces clean and preserved. Matching brown fitted carpet floor covering is soft and wear free. All the door cards are in fantastic condition with only a minor nick on the drivers door. All the electrical switches and gauges function correctly. Dealer supplied tax disc holder still with first tax disc issued in situ! Pure 1970s charm!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The famous A series engine fitted to this great car performs perfectly. The four-cylinder in-line engine produces 57bhp at 5,500rpm and is very economical returning 40.6mpg at a constant 56mph. Impeccably maintained, simple mechanics and brilliant parts available will offer the new owner trouble free classic car motoring. The four-speed gearbox is smooth and light.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

Pressed steel disc wheels with correct plastic wheel trims are damage free and clean. Fitted with new quality Michelin Energy 175/70 R13 tyres. The dual-line hydraulically operated brakes with servo assistance are responsive and stop the car safely.

HISTORY FILE

Supplied new on the 4th April 1979 by Parkside Main Dealers in Coventry to a Mr Thomas Fell for the sum of £2641.25 after a generous discount of £526.20! Every piece of paperwork supplied with the car from new remains from the New Car Purchase Invoice to the Change of Address Notice Card. All handbooks, manuals and a fully stamped Passport to Service Book with the last entry being at 26,487 miles before being laid up after the owner passed away.

The owners Daughter sold the vehicle to the Chairman of the Morris Marina Owners Club who recommissioned the car to its former glory and now offers a fantastic opportunity for a new owner to appreciate this very low mileage star.
