This very special and fast 1977 Porsche 930 has been constructed into a 935 specification competition car. This famous 935 specification 930, according to the vendor has credit finishes on the podium of virtually every vintage-historical endurance race it was run in from 1990-2000.

To add to its competition accolade and testament to the quality of its build, this car has beaten the Coca-Cola Paradyne 935, JLP 935, Whittington brothers 935, Greenwood Corvettes, Camel Light cars and a few GTPs as well. The car currently sits in group 5 trim and the engine is fresh with virtually all new components (everything but the case ), as well as a fresh gearbox due to time and use. The car has been stored over the past 10 years by the current owner who had plans of sponsorship, but the engine still has yet to see race use. A total of 130 miles has been put on the car since the current owner took possession and he has sunk $ 30.000, into new components that have not seen a track.

The vendor has informed us, that chassis 0274 is extremely reliable with, in total over $ 300.000 invested , there is little argument that this might be the best price of admission into a full blown race car experience.

Mechanically, chassis 0274 is fitted with a 3.3 litre turbocharged unit developing approx. 600 ft-lbs torque. We are advised it is fitted with virtually all new components, large Garret Turbo, Carillo Piston Rods, Twin plugged, nirosist ring flow heads, an updated EPIC ECU controlling spark and fuel system . In the interests of safety, chassis 0274 is fitted with a Fuel Safe 32 gallon endurance cell with IMSA dry break, and near flush mounted lexan windows on the side, and front safety glass.

Bodily, the factory tub has been reinforced with tube frame and a suspension integrated cage. Other panels are manufactured from DSUS fastened composites made of fiberglass, carbonfiber, and kevlar

The current gearbox holds a short bell housing 4-speed, Billet aluminium shifter, and the car is fitted with aQuaife Differential. The vendor informs us it is easier to drive than locked spool, with special gear ratios on 1st, 3rd, and 4th.

All in all this 935 spec 930 offers the new owner a complete package! A proven car for over a decade, offered at a fraction of its build cost.
