This rare Triumph TR7 16v Sprint is an ex works press car and was built on the 15th May 1975. The TR7 was despatched on the 26th June 1975 to British Leyland Markerting Services and the build record and Heritage Certificate confirm this was an official press car. KDU 367N is chassis number six of the British Leyland works rally TR7s and the car eventually was part of the British Leyland rally car collection of Arthur Carter. The car does have race history and more recently in 2006 it returned to road rallies having had extensive work carried out. A summary of work is with the history file that also includes MOT certificates, invoices, race/rally photos and FIVA ID.

The car is finished in Works' colours to fully rally specification with FIVA papers. The shell is full seam welded and strengthened and the car is equipped with roll cage, trip meter, Corbeau bucket seats with full harnesses, Cibie spot lamps, Tarmac suspension, quick rack, strut brace, oil cooler, Group 4 brakes with adjustable balance and five speed gearbox. The car is prepared and ready for serious rallies and is road legal.

Considering the car has been raced, it is presented in excellent condition having benefitted from a rebuild. The body is superbly straight with no evidence of corrosion and the underside painted. The interior is in excellent order and not built for comfort. It has extra gauges, switches and mechanical trip all working and ready for rallying. On the road KDU 367N is fast and lots of fun. There is enormous rallying potential and the power is impressive, handling competent and brakes sharp as they need to be. The 16 valve 2.0 engine sounds superb and performance is enhanced with the two SU carbs.

This TR7 is tremendous fun and ideal for historic rallying and competition.
