Rare Mk2 1275 S in Tartan Red/Black. Car is excellent mechanically with a professionally built replacement engine last year and starts and runs well. The interior is virtually all original and is in overall good condition (a couple of small splits to drivers seat). Bodywork is sound requiring no welding although some attention to the paintwork would make the car look excellent. I have had someone who does restoration work as a business go over the car last week and he has said that the issues are minor and could be corrected for under £500. It does not need anything remotely approaching a full restoration and is in fact perfectly useable as is.

Would be good basis for an Historic rally car or Works replica.

The registration is not included but could be made available.

Car always starts instantly even after 2-3 weeks unused in garage, temperature is under mid mark, oil pressure is at 75 and the car is going really well.

I had planned to build a Works replica, however my plans have now changed.

The V5c states Austin Cooper S 1275 and is in my name. Current MOT and Historic tax ready to drive away. Like many others, this car has been reshelled in the past but unlike many this has been done using a correct sliding window type shell rather than the more usual later style with wind up windows. Unless you are an expert on these cars, you would not know this. If it is an issue for you, then you should consider another car instead.
