This beautifully restored MKI Mini was built on the 2nd December 1963 and despatched to Castleton Motors Limited of Rochdale on the 10th December 1963. This Austin Mini was built at the Morris factory in Cowley, Oxford and was finished in Smoke Grey with blue/grey upholstery. The Mini was first registered in Cheshire in 1964.

SKH 823B has been owned by a lady in Worcestershire since 2004 when it was purchased in need of restoration. The Mini was then totally rebuilt back to original factory specification. The car was totally stripped, many panels replaced including floor panels and fully re-painted in its original colour of Smoke Grey. The interior was totally re-trimmed with new seats, new carpets and new headlining. A replacement correct 848cc engine was fitted and all brakes renewed and new fuel tank fitted. Many other items including steering wheel, window locks, side windows, wheels and tyres were also replaced. Since restoration the Mini has only covered 2000 miles and it drives and performs superbly. The Mini has proved completely reliable and presents in lovely condition throughout.
