This car was sold to a collector. Several years ago this car came back to the UK and was sold to another collector where again it has been perfectlystored.
On the market un-registeredwith delivery miles from new, this car has never been used other than the PDI testing.

Jaguar XJ220
Background
The XJ220 story started in 1988 when Jaguar Cars Ltd unveiled its two door mid engine concept car at the Birmingham International Motor Show. XJ220 was clearly aimed at the supercar sector but more importantly reflected the capabilities of British carmakers and the skills of Jaguar. At the time of the concept, Jaguar had no intention to manufacture such an individualist car. However, no-one could have imagined the response from those potential customers prepared to pay large sums of money to own such a car. Manufacture commenced in 1992 by Jaguar Sport, a joint venture company between Jaguars Cars Ltd and TWR Engineering. A maximum of 350 cars were to be produced at the specially developed manufacturing facility at Bloxham in rural Oxfordshire.
The Car
The beautifully styled XJ220 with its innovative aluminum body and chassis, advanced technology double curative glass, group C race-derived suspension and powerful Jaguar JV6 3.5 twin turbo race 542 bhp engine makes XJ220 one of the fastest road cars of the decade. The cars power and performance are complemented by a traditional Jaguar all leather interior and a high feature specification air-conditioning, CD player, electric windows and central door locking are all standard.
XJ220 was manufactured to meet the arduous EU certification standards which require the car to be crashed into a 150 ton concrete block at 30 mph (48km/h) ensuring passenger cell integrity. The test engineers were impressed. The steering column moved rearwards by only 13mm compared to the permitted 127mm, the windscreen was undamaged and both doors opened fully even the headlights were intact.
In the rollover simulation test, because the car has an integral steel roll cage, the test was suspended after 10 tons downward pressure, which was 5 times the legislated requirement with no body deformation, and not so much as a cracked windscreen.
Today, XJ220 remains one of the worlds greatest supercars, representing the ultimate driving experience with awesome acceleration coupled with a top speed of over 210 mph (336 km/h). XJ220 was also the first production car to benefit from ground-effect technology providing up to 600lbs of down force at 200mph.
Current Situation
Production of the car ceased in April 1994, due to an economic down turn affecting demand for specialist cars of this type. The production total was 281. The remaining unsold cars were relocated to Jaguars Headquarters at Browns Lane in Coventry. A service facility was established and the task of selling the remaining stock became the responsibility of Howard Davies. The price today is 210,000 GBP plus taxes.
