The Humber Hawk was introduced in 1936 and The Rootes Group described the car as having fine performance, smooth running, quiet comfort and handsome appearance. It was a model for those who seek these qualities in a medium powered car.

JKX 38 is a remarkably original car that has covered 102,500 miles from new. This Humber Hawk has some lovely original features, particularly the exceptionally well kept leather upholstery that clearly shows this is a car that has never had neglect. The car has a very honest feel with a lovely level of patina and the car drives exactly as it should. The Humber comes with a comprehensive service history with Shell Lubrication statements throughout the 1950's and 1960's. We also have MOT certificates dating back to 1963 and tax discs back to 1961. From the history it would appear that the Humber was supplied new to a Doctor in Oxford and remained in the Oxfordshire area until at least the mid 1960's.

The 14hp Humber presents very well with nice older paint, a solid, straight body and good chrome. The Humber is not without the odd imperfection but on the whole presents well. The interior is delightful and on the road performance is superb. The Humber feels robust and is certainly capable of longer distance driving.
