My beautiful 230 CE Mercedes

I purchased the car some 13 years ago paying £16000 plus for it, it is the last of the classic build cars costing £32000 new, the same price of a house!, later cars were not as well built as later cars had a lot of rust problems with horrendous replacement cost for wings and underneath work required.

My car has always been garaged, or fitted with a carcoon inflatable air bubble over the winter months. I have covered under 30000 miles since buying the car which had 65k on the clock.and now reads 94000.

The only colour for a CE is black, with light beige leather seat and panels, she has an electric sun roof and heated seats. There is also a tow bar which is used only to tow a light weight sailing dinghy 2 miles to the beach. On the last service, 400 miles ago which was carried out by my local garage mechanic included a new exhaust pipe was fitted, new petrol filter, oil change, air filters, plugs, etc, some history of previous servicing carried out by Mercedes specialist of Colchester, and previous by Geyfords Mercedes main dealers London.
