Model History

The history of the iconic Sunbeam Tiger is known in petrol head folk law. So we will not go on and on about it. This car has several superb updates/upgrades making it one of the nicest, cleanest in the land and a proven show winner.

Interior & Equipment

The whole of the interior has been restored to an immaculate standard, full burgundy leather even the Motolita steering wheel has beed covered to match. Full set of quality wool carpets throughout. The Walnut dash is all new and immaculate. Full set of matching "Jaegar" gauges put a finishing touch to this beautiful interior.

Exterior

This must be the straightest Tiger in the UK today. It is "arrow" straight everywhere you look. The Black paintwork A1 condition there is no filler or faults at all. This perfection extends to all door shuts, boot area, engine bay and underneath is almost as clean as on top. All brightwork has been polished and re chromed and again is almost faultless. A stunning attention to detail is that all badges have been done to match the car in black and read "302".

Wheels, Tyres & Brakes

The wheels are again immaculate and are as new 9 by 15 on the rear and 6 by 15 to the front. The tyres are top end "Toyo" brand with 195/55/15 to the front and 225/50/15 to the rear, again these are as new. Not only do these tyres perform superbly the car sits superbly too.

Engine & Transmission

The high output 302 ci s/b ford is just stunning the attention to detail is amazing and is testament to the builder. This Tiger is rated as probably the fastest road legal Tiger in the country. The list of parts and work done to this engine would read like war and peace it really is the business. All this power is put through a billett aluminium flywheel, new high performance clutch all incased in the bomb proof 5 speed Tremec gearbox then into the limited slip back axle. It also has the added bonus of a line lock fitted for those days you want to turn up at the drag strip. The work that has gone into this state of the art set up is amazing.

Summary

This Sunbeam Tiger is being sold on behalf of one of our customers. It is breaking his heart to sell as he searched for years to find the best and fastest Tiger in the country, money was not an issue. Due to another dream car being delivered shortly from the states this one must go. The photos do not do this car justice ,it is truly immacualte everywhere you look.
