Don€t you just smile looking at this one? This set of wheels is guaranteed to bring happiness wherever she goes. And although it hasn€t travelled far since the restoration, no doubt she is up to the excitement. This Lemans comes to us from a well-known and highly respected Pontiac enthusiast and collector. It€s frame off restoration was recently completed and just enough miles have been travelled to call it fully sorted and certified. And never since the works were completed has this one seen a rain drop.

The original 326 engine was rebuilt and produces 280HP just like it was 1964. These engines have always been respected as reliable and long serving and this example has just been reborn. The engine has that throaty Pontiac rumble and has all the pulling and performing power it was designed to produce. For you purest we do have the original carburetor if you ever wish to refit it. A new 4 core radiator was fitted during the restoration, much superior to what was on offer in 1964. Likewise the original automatic transmission was rebuilt and manages to run through the gears effortlessly. It is noteworthy how progressive GM was with these transmissions nearly 50 years ago. The fresh Red Line Tires have just 1,000 miles on them so go ahead and head for Key West mile Marker 1.

Legendary Interiors provided the soft goods inside the cabin and set off against the red exterior, the light seating is worth a wow. The in dash radio is no longer operational but a CD player is concealed in the glove box and belts out the Beach Boys wonderfully. While you are sitting down go ahead and drop the convertible top. The top mechanism is likewise ready for action. New cylinders, lines and motor will make the ups and downs carefree.

Here is a classic that isn€t a bundle of money that you can enjoy for the next decade with perhaps only routine maintenance and when 2021 rolls around, get more for it than what you will pay today. A decade of fun for who knows, maybe free€¦€¦€¦
