E24 6 series , the last of the classic shark nosed coupes and a luxury GT tourer. This car is one of the last highline, all leather cars from april 1989 which has switchable auto tramsmission . This lachs silver bmw has a very low genuine mileage of 87,000 miles for its 22 years and there are very few with less than 100,000 miles on the clock still out there at a sensible price. I have owned this car for the last four years and it has been a real joy to own but is reluctantly for sale as I need an estate car. The highline means it has an all leather interior,in this case its a grey which compliments the silver exterior. This car does not have original expensive metric wheels and tyres,they have been replaced by some similar 7 series wheels which can be shod without the TRX tyres that cost a fortune. The car has all the original tools and this includes the first aid kit and the glove box torch.Factory fitted options include ,heated electrical sports seats with drivers memory,tinted screen top,limited slip differential ,cruise control,deadlocks and alarm. This car started its life in the isle of man and 5 years later came back to the mainland and has several owners all doing a low mileage which shows why this particular car has lasted so well. When I bought the car I searched all over the uk and eventually went to Kent to get this one as it had a good pedigree,original manual and stamped service book. Great service history ,paperwork and receipts and it passed an RAC inspection without any major problems. It also has a great number plate which will be included in the sale. She has just had a service one inspection and the straight six cylinder, 12 valve engine goes like a dream. MOT inspection passed in October without any advisories. Taxed till May. This car is a real head turner and been admired a lot although it is not show room condition. This is not a €œproject car€ but like all cars of this age it will need some care as the front wings which are the weak point will need to be sealed. If you spend about 500 pounds to get them sorted you will have a great example . Similar cars with this low mileage and pedigree with replacement wings go for twice the price so grab yourself a bargain. I have more photos if you want them.
