Up for sale is this very rare Reliant Robin BN 1

This must surely be the only chance to buy what can only be described as a very rare car indeed. Only 20 of these cars are known to have been produced by the BN plastics company and this is the very last one to be registered and is sure to be a future classic.

BN Plastics took over production under licence from Reliant in 2001 and started to produce the Reliant Robin under its new name the Reliant Robin BN1. This car is one of the last to be built by BN Plastics Company (chassis no 20) before they ceased production in 2002. Although the car was never completed at the BN works and was never registered. It was bought by me in 2009 as a complete but unassembled car. I had the car professionally repainted and I completed the assembly using only brand new parts throughout all the running gear which came with the car was new but was refurbished and painted anyway Every nut and bolt and screw used was new in 09 and were possible stainless fasteners were used. This car was registered and declared new by the DVA in May 2009, and is marked as such in the V5C Registration document.

The car has only 9500 miles on the clock and as you would expect still runs and drives like a new car should with everything feeling just so nice solid and well new! The car has deep soundproofing throughout and quality custom made automotive carpets. Unlike the felt type that Reliant used. It also has custom made interior trim with colour matched piping in vinyl and this is in perfect condition and it is hardwearing. It has the white faced dials including a matching rev counter. It has the unique BN dash fitted but I have laid it out to suit the extra instrumentation. I have fitted a nice Sony cd player with iPod connection and a quality 4 speaker system and these will go with the car. All these photos have been taken recemtly so you can see the condition as it is now.. As mentioned this car was assembled by me and not at the factory, I believe more care and time were taken to finish the car to a higher standard but this is only my opinion, do be aware that the car has not been built to exact factory specification and comes with no manufactures warranty whatever.

Dont let the location put you of as I am only about an hours drive form Belfast or Larne ferry port and I am even willing to bring the car to any UK port accessible from these ports (if sale is agreed and you pay for the crossing) probably less than £100.

As mentioned this is a very rare and unique car, being the last ever to be registered as new in the UK in 2009 and is sure to become a future classic and part of Reliant Cars history. The chance to own this very special car will never come along again.
