Built in 1936, it is likely that the car had a sportive body, but we know that it was converted in the Le Mans 1936-1937 version during the 70s. At this period it was owned by a famous lawyer from Paris, Maitre Milliot who was a member of the 'Automobile Club de France' and owned a few delahye's. He was the one who ordered ,specialists at the time, the construction of this body using original parts he had accumulated during his career as a collector. The car is now equipped with a 1938 type 103J engine and the famous electromagnetic Cotal gear box. After having kept the car in the for about twenty years, it was left to an amateur pilot from Draguignan who used it in races in the 90s before selling it to a Belgian collector who took part in many events such as, Liege-Rome-Liege in 2005,1998;1995 and Mille Miglia in 1995 and 2000 and La Coupe des Alpes in 1995. The car is very powerful and brings alot of passion and enthusiasm in these events and the personality of its owners have mad this beautiful blue azure lady used to podiums and photographers. The car has its FIA papers and its FIVA identity card. This car can be entered in most of the historic events and rallys. |
