1974 FERRARI 365 GT 2+2 Coupe Manual Right Hand Drive UK REG. Chassis no. 17579. This rare Ferrari Coupe is one of just 134 RHD Manual examples built. In the early nineties a well known Ferrari collector and owners club member Mr.Shrigley-Feigl had the original coupe body removed and reconfigured / rebodied in the style of a 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder using a fibreglass body from Emilio Garcia E.G. Autocraft. To do this the cars wheelbase was shortened to the correct length( a process simplified by the eliptical tubular costruction of a 365 GT 2+2,s F101AL chassis frame) retaining it,s Maranello all round independent coil and wishbone suspension 4 wheel ventilated discs and power steering. The engine is the quad cam 4390c.c.320 BHP V12 with 6 side draft Webber,s a 5 speed box mated to the engine and a truncated torque tube to the rear axle. The wheels are original Ferrari Cromodora knock-off alloys with 7" fronts and the more desirable larger 9" Boxer rears with brand new original fitment Michelin XWX,s all round. Finished in Ferrari Metallic Blue Sera with blue Mohair Hood and contrasting blue leather Daytona seats with black inserts and blue carpets the car is virtually indistinguishable from it,s metal skinned sibling. The car has just had a repaint to concours standards with a rechrome of the bumpers and badges new spinners new indicator lens refurbished wheels with new 3 eared spinners new tyres and a new hood and hoodbag. It is fitted with electric windows and a modern CD/Stereo and a stainless exhaust system. It has been recently recommisioned and seviced by R.and D.Automotive the north west Ferrari Specialists.
