1992 Toyota MR2 GT with 2litre twin cam 16v 3S-GE engine. Five speed manual. T-Bar roof with roof blinds/bags present. Leather interior in black - none of the usual wear to the drivers bolster. This car is in very good condition for it's age. It has a full MOT until Jan 2011 but no tax at present (can tax at buyers expense so you can drive away subject to your own insurance). No problems with the alarm or central locking - common faults have been fixed. Engine serviced last year less than 2,000 miles ago. Also had transmission fluid change at same time and front discs/pads replaced. A replacement flexi joint has been fitted to the exhaust - another common failure! Alloy wheels were refurbished recently and all have legal tires with 6mm+ tread depth. Space saver is present. I have a massive history file with this car including a purchase invoice for £12,000 in 1996! As far as in car entertainment goes, I have fitted a double din DVD/TV head unit with a 7" Touch Screen. This plays movies from DVD's or DiVX via disc, USB or SDCard. It will also play MP3 from a USB stick or USB hardrive, SDCard, DVD or good old fashioned CD! It also has built in Bluetooth handsfree to stay legal whilst driving. RDS FM Radio too. The car is factory fitted with the super premium sound system which includes two discrete subwoofers in the cubby boxes behind the seats. Won't blow the windows out but adds a nice touch of bass to an already sweet sounding stereo. Very few bad points - A few bubbles here and there and that's about it! I've enjoyed using this car over the past year, and especially in the summer (?). New car forces very reluctant sale. Please contact by the mobile number primarily. |

The Mk1 MR2 (AW10/AW11) was initially released with an engine borrowed from the Toyota AE86, the 1.6L 16v engine that, thanks to the cars low weight, still powered the car swiftly enough, producing 128hp. Later in the Mk1's life Toyota introduced the T-Top MR2, an open topped version with a Targa style roof and added options such as leather seats.
