Toyota MR2 Mk1a For Sale classic Toyota MR2 Mk1a for sale uk
Toyota MR2 MK1a
Tidy early MK1a which is generally in not bad condition, front wings are very good; it is currently fitted with MK1b front spoiler and I think originally it was white with the lower part of the bodywork in silver,
Only done 98.500 miles, in the last few years has had new alternator and stainless steel sports exhaust fitted. Also has remote central locking Cobra alarm / immobiliser.
With the car is a large about of spare parts (all from MK1b white car) including, front and rear bumper, bonnet, engine cover, doors, spare glass, pop up lights, plus more.
Been dry stored for the last year and looks like it will sit here for another without been used so reluctantly for sale as I need the space, it should pass any MOT with out any major work.

Some History of the Toyota MR2

With the release of the Toyota MR2 Mk2 (SW20/21/22) is 1989, the car aw a complete overhaul. Being longer, wider and heavier than it's predecessor, the car became more of a GT model rather than an out an out sports car. Often referred to as a poor man's Ferrari, due to it's uncanny resemblance to the aforementioned marque's F348tb and F355 models (with there being several body kits on the market to convert the MR2 to a Ferrari replica). Released in Europe with only 1 engine option, the 156hp 2.0L 16v DOHC 3s-GE engine, performance was still swift and sales were strong, although a number of 220hp MR2 GT's (badged in the U.S as the MR2 Turbo) were imported privately.
