I must reluctantly offer For Sale my lovely 1958 Hillman Minx Rep 'Special'. I bought this car in September 2008 and since that time it has been used for filming on the ITV series Heartbeat and also The Royal, so she comes with some lovely provenance. I have not listed the mileage in the description as whilst showing only 19,894 miles, the odometer stopped working soon after I bought the car. However, I do have insurance paperwork that shows the mileage at 18,120 in 1999 and 18,508 in 2004 plus MOT certificates from 2005. The car’s condition both mechanically and structurally is good. Some detail attention may be desired in one or two areas but again, that is not essential and is purely minor cosmetic stuff. The car also retains its original and now rare rubber floor mats as featured in the 'Special' along with floor change gearbox, bench seat, colour coded trim. The car drives like a dream (I have enjoyed a few days out in it) and as mentioned above, is in excellent mechanical order. MOT to Nov 2010. A very rare car in its own right, and a chance to buy at a sensible price. |
