1948 Allard "L" Type Four seat tourer.
One of the most comprehensively restored "L" types in the country.
Twin Solex carburettors.
Allard alloy manifold and heads.
Fully balanced engine with full flow oil filter.
Heat lagged stainless steel (18 gauge 304) multi branch balanced exhausts.
3.54 rear axle.
Phase 2 rear brakes.
Stainless steel sleeved brake cylinders.
Body off ash frame restoration with new aluminium tub.
Bare metal respray to concours standard in Jaguar old English white.
Interior trimmed in the best quality red leather.
All bright work re-chromed.
Full wet weather hood and side screens.
Five new 175/16 radial tyres.
Total replacement/restoration of all other mechanical and body parts.
In my opinion this is quite simply the best "L" type Allard available.
It is for sale on behalf of the the present owner and the badges in the photos are to be removed but the badge bar will remain on the car.
