Mercedes W124 E200 5 Seat Estate - Manual -The car is registered 1995 'M' Reg one of the final face lifted versions. If you know about the Mercedes W124 series, you will know that it is one of the best cars Mercedes built. One of the last products of an engineering lead Mercedes era, the W124 series is engineered and built to last many hundreds of thousands of miles. This car should be good for at least another 200,000 miles if regularly maintained. I have owned this car for six years and is now surplus to my requirements. The car has been maintained rigorously with just over £7,400 pounds spent in maintenance over the six years. This is not the typical neglected example. 
With the car are two keys and all the original instruction manuals , service history book (fully stamped) , hand books ,dealer books etc. - These are all in original Mercedes Service Wallet with piles of documents and invoices from day one to the present day. Low Mileage for year - Car has covered just 183 000 miles. Serviced March 08, next service due at 189,000. MOT expires September 2009 Tax Expires Jan 2009 The E200 TE ( 2 Litre Four Cylinder - 16 Valve engine) is more powerful and has more torque than the older 2 litre version of the TE Models - This car is most economical and surprisingly lively to drive due to manual gearbox. Official MPG figures: 55 mph 40 mpg 75 mph 32 mpg Euro mix 31 mpg Urban 24 mpg With petrol considerably cheaper per litre than diesel that makes this car only marginally less economical than the 300 diesel version! Car is finished in Mercedes Black Metallic paintwork with contrasting lower panels. Full Black MB Tex leather type upholstery, is in superb order with no wear showing at all and is complemented by Burr Wood Trim. The vehicle is in overall superb condition please study the photos. There are a few very minor age related stone chips, plus dents & mark on the rear from the supermarket car park, but really there is nothing significant that would spoil this lovely looking car. The car has zero body rust, only some tiny bubbles on the drivers front wing. The interior is in overall fabulous condition - The drivers seat has no wear marks - The Carpets are all in superb order throughout the car .
 
The wheels are also in very good condition some minor marks on the wheel trims.
The car also has original Mercedes overmats in the front and rear. The luggage area has a removable cover/ dog guard. The aircon system is working well with rear passengers asking to turn it down because it is getting too cold! 
 As this is a 5 seater, the car has two hidden lockable compartments in the floor of the car instead of the child seats. This makes the car a very practical load and luggage carrier the larger of the two compartments will take two shopping bags hidden under the luggage area with ease. The car drives very smoothly you would generally find the drive very hard to fault. This is an understated car economy is superb. Quiet and refined it can cruise at speed all day long and literally eats miles on long journeys. It is a vehicle you can instantly tell has been well maintained. 
 Unrivalled load carrying capacity, the load area inside the car rivals a small van. Maximum total permitted load is 650 Kg! Load area maximum is circa 850H X 1250W X 1950D A maximum load of 80 Kg is permitted on the roof bars. Hopefully the pictures will give you a good idea of the condition that this car.
