Offered privately, the seller says this very special early Jaguar XK 120 FHC is an original Belgian supplied car. When the restoration started it turned out to be a special build vehicle. The roofline is extended and the quarter panels are much long than with the regular XK 120 FHC. Restoration to be finished. 90% done full body off restoration with photos and full documentation.

Offered by Coys Auctions, they say this superb example presented here has undergone a complete restoration and accompanying it are pictures of the car with the body off and in various stages of sandblasting and powder-coating, including the hood frame, after which the bare metal body was re-sprayed in cellulose and the "underbody" treated with Waxoil. Like the entire body, the brakes, suspension and steering components have all been completely rebuilt using new components, as has the engine while the gearbox and overdrive unit underwent comprehensive reconditioning. Indeed, nothing has been overlooked with the costs far exceeding the market value of the car. There's more: new tyres have been fitted, including the spare, as has a stainless steel exhaust system, and even the widely preferred swing-arm spring suspension conversion, plus new carpets, new hood and a new alarm system. Always garaged to ensure that everything keeps looking good, it comes as little surprise that this splendid Triumph has won numerous competitions including Best Herald in 1995 and ‘98, Best in Show 1996, Best Home Restoration 1996 and TSSC International Best Interior 1996. Valued by the Triumph Sports Six Club at £6,000, and complete with a plethora of period associated paperwork and a full year‘s MoT test certificate, this great little car runs beautifully and is joy to see and own.

H and H states, finished in light blue with mid blue upholstery, this particular left-hand drive example was supplied new to North America. Extensively restored whilst over there, the Roadster was imported to Southern Ireland earlier this year. Riding on silver-painted steel wheels, this delightful MG is described by the vendor as being in "concours" condition.

Offered by The Real Car Company, they say an exceptionally clean and sharp example of an early MKVI, the subject of much cosmetic renovation in the 1990s to a very high standard, and still looking extremely smart, very well finished in the original colour of Mistletoe Green, with excellent beige leather interior, re-finished wood, recent carpets, etc. The last owner has carried out some very useful and practical work, including conversion to LPG (dual fuel, runs on petrol as well), electronic ignition, and the fitting of inertia reel seatbelts. Used as a family car, and just driven here from Kent, about 300 miles, without problem. MoT tested until June 2009. Chassis No. B354DA. Reg No. KAL 700. Ordered by Eric L C Pentecost who was not only a noted breeder of Red Angus cattle (the result of cross-breeding English Longhorns & Black Aberdeen Angus cattle) but was also an author of several humorous tomes, including the well known book "Ditties & Discourses". He kept B354DA for 32 years, finally selling in 1980.
