All our vehicles are personally selected to ensure satisfaction and value for money. Bearing this in mind it is not our intention to offer the cheapest example as we believe price must reflect quality and standard.. Therefore, as enthusiastic collectors, we understand the uncertainty purchasers face when following up advertisements. As discerning buyers we purchase less than 20% of vehicles offered and often travel hundreds of miles to view miss-described examples. We find this most irritating and totally demoralizing and therefore guarantee an accurate description together with a photograph and brochure sent on request.Whilst we are extremely fortunate to live and work in this beautiful location we realise most of our customers may need to travel some considerable distance to visit our museum and sales vehicles. After operating for just over 40 years 2010 saw our much awaited venture into the world of Classic Car Auctions. After many years of looking for that right property / location combination we thought that we may just have it at our Museum / Showroom premises at Thornton Le-Dale. After all the location is well known, there is a 300+ Car / Coach park within a few hundred yards of our showroom and the extremely picturesque village holds a number of other attractions that could well keep the long suffering wife amused for an hour or two!!We lunched our first sale in May last year (2010) and continued on to hold two further successful sales before Christmas that year. The later sale noted an entry of over 75 vehicles and a host of memorabilia. This figure we found to be a little high, so future sale will hold an entry around the 50 to 60 level with memorabilia starting earlier at approx 11:30 am before moving onto vehicle at approx 1pm.We have learnt a lot already and no doubt will continue to learn during the next year.We intend to hold a further four sales during 2012 at approximately eight week intervals. Dates etc will be well published
