Desmond J Smail Limited is highly regarded as one of the world's leading Aston Martin specialists and has been based in the beautiful market town of Olney in Buckinghamshire for 30 years.

The business, named after its founder, who is still very much at the heart of it today, has earned an enviable reputation around the world for quality workmanship and the restoration, servicing and selling of post-1958 Aston Martins.

Many of the craftsmen who can be found in Desmond J Smail's service and restoration workshops have many decades of Aston Martin experience, often in the old Newport Pagnell Aston Martin factory. As well as putting their skills and experience to practical use, restoring and maintaining a wide selection of classics, their time is spent training a new generation of Aston Martin engineers and restorers, whose computer-age skills otherwise come into their own with the contemporary cars.

More experts from Newport Pagnell populate the parts department, which holds half a million pounds worth of spares and has recently starting investing in a re-tooling programme for the parts that have traditionally been the most difficult to locate.

In the 6,000 square foot showroom, on the High Street in Olney, a fine selection of post-1958 Aston Martins are on display, from the iconic DB4 to the current range. Some of the cars have incredible history, whether they have been unearthed from as far afield as South Africa, or discovered after sitting untouched for 30 years.
