1987 Argo JM19 Porsche Group C The JM19 was Argos vision of a fully fledged Group C2 car for Le Mans. Designed by Swissman Jo Marquardt. Chassis #110 was the only JM19, out of 18 constructed, to be powered by the infamous Porsche 3.2L flat six twin turbo engine. Installation of the Porsche powerplant promoted it to the Group C1 class. With period racing history at Le Mans in 1986 plus 1987 the car was also campaigned in selected World Sportscar Championship rounds as well as the German ADAC Supercup Series from 1986-1989. Initially fitted with long tail rear bodywork for Le Mans the car was altered to short tail configuration to improve handling on shorter circuits. The car is presented in its 1987 Dahm Racing Cars livery as used at Le Mans in 1987. Ideal for Classic Le Mans and the Group C Racing Championship. With the price of other Porsche engined Group C cars like the Porsche 956 and 962 reaching new highs the Argo Porsche is an eminently affordable way to sample Porsche power at La Sarthe. The car is fitted with a fresh engine but will need a certain amount of re-commissioning and crack testing before being able to head out on the race track. Further information upon request
